Qualifications:
Minimum 15+ years industry experience in I&C design with extensive experience in refining, pharmaceutical, petrochemical and specialty chemical projects.
Associate Degree/Higher Education preferred.
Proficient in MicroStation and ACAD.
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability and willingness to learn new software.
Knowledge of INTERGRAPH INtools Package a Plus

The Senior Designer will lead and guide a team of designers during all phases of a project. This position will be accountable for the development of complete Instrument & Control System drawings with associated bill of materials as well as development of FEED to EPC type documentation.

Duties:
Supervise and provide guidance/assistance to I&C designers on a project.
Interface with project, client personnel and other disciplines to ensure coordinated design.
Demonstrate strong hands-on leadership skills.
Effectively conduct meetings.
Prepare estimates, schedules and perform man-hour, manpower requirements.
Motivate instrument designers to obtain maximum productivity.
Maintain a cooperative, efficient, and good working environment.
Perform checking of all discipline deliverables as appropriate to the discipline to ensure they clearly depict the design, meet layout requirements and develop alternate design layouts of systems as required.
Review constructability, operability and safety in design.
Assist in training junior-level Designers in various procedures.df-tc
