Description
TRASYS is partnering with a valued client located in Cincinnati, in identifying an Integration Engineer to develop and build out architecture to integrating a J2EE based Healthcare Management product with a diverse array of client based clinical and administrative systems. This individual will be responsible for consultative technology recommendations across small teams as well as cross enterprise project teams.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, code, enhance, and maintain integration solutions using combination of proprietary tools and integration engine/toolset technologies.

Design, code, enhance, and maintain integration architecture using J2EE technologies.

Develop comprehensive functional and technical specifications for customer delivery.

Develop, execute, and document development efforts.

Monitor and recommend architectural requirements of integration tools and application technologies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must have an understanding of application development methodology, knowledge of a multi-tier development environment, and relational database structure and theory.

Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical staff, as well as internal and external customers and peers.

Ability to interface well with users, technical staff and management at all levels, internally as well as client.

Demonstrated aptitude and desire for learning new technologies.


Healthcare integration experiences a plus.

Experience with Sun JCAPS middleware technology required. Other middleware applications experience a plus.

Experience integrating middleware technologies within J2EE environments preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent on-the-job experience is preferred.
Minimum four (4) years J2EE experience
Minimum one (1) year applicable work experience with middleware technologies (experience with equivalent products may be considered).
HL7, XML
TCP/IP, FTP, HTTP(S)
Object Oriented methodologies
Oracle, SQL
Unix and Unix scripting
