Description
GTA has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Interactive Designer to join our Portal Team in GTAs Office of Solutions Development. This position will be located in our Creative Studio in downtown Atlanta.

Experience/Skills
Five years of experience in interactive design, graphic design or web development. (Two years may be substituted with a bachelors degree in interactive design, graphic design, computer art, multimedia productions, broadcast journalism, or a related field from an accredited college or university).Experience using Portal/enterprise content management systems, especially Vignette V6+/V7+, MCM / VCM, or Epicentric Foundation Server / Vignette Application Portal (VAP)
Experience building web pages or templates using HTML, XML, DHTML, JavaScript and CSS
Advanced experience with web design tools such as Macromedia Studio 8 including action scripting Expertise with information architecture and site flow / design
Creative design experience using tools in the Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience defining project/software release scope, defining work-breakdown tasks, estimating level-of effort
Experience training groups
Experience with Quark or similar content publishing tool for print
Expertise in using Adobe graphics and development packages and Microsoft Office
Bachelors degree in interactive design, graphic design, computer art, multimedia productions, journalism, or a related field from an accredited college or university
Provide a portfolio of work including any of the following; site designs, user interface work, applications designs, wire frames, web addresses from previous projects affiliated with, screenshots of design, development or content management projects
Candidates may be required to demonstrate proficiency of the following tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Quark, HTML, CSS and XML coding
