Assist with the current development of client/server and web based applications that process individual and corporate taxes. Contractor must have strong JAVA development skills. All combined, the contractors shall have most of the following skills:
(UI) user interface development experience
Server side and business logic development experience
Significant Object Oriented design experience
Accounting and/or finance experience is preferred. Experience with authentication, credit card transaction and ACH processing are also preferred. Communication skills must be very good. Contractors will interface with other developers, business analysts, management, and end users. Contractors will be given specific technical direction and guidance.




Experience/Skills
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
CORBA (COM or DCOM will substitute), JDBC, J2EE, JAVA beans, Data modeling, JAVA script, UML, Model-View-Controller (MVC).

Preferred: JBuilder, Struts or Java Server Faces Frameworks, WEB Services, and Network/Internet Security (i.e. Firewalls, SSL, encryption).

Other desired skills:
