Description
Adecco Technical is seeking a Senior J2EE / .NET Developer to provide development support and customization for commercial off the shelf products and in-house applications for a Fortune 16 company. Primarily responsible for supporting Vignette CMS and Vignette Portal installations. Responsible for managing a trouble ticket queue and resolving production related issues. Responsible for providing 24x7 on-call support. Java J2EE, Weblogic and .NET experience is required. Entails working closely with internal customers and prioritizing tasks across different business owners. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are preferred, along with a focus on customer satisfaction.


Required Skills:
BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems
4 + projects through the full system development lifecycles to a Production environment
3+ years of J2EE experience in technologies like: Java, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, JNDI, Web Services
3+ years of experience with BEA Weblogic application server 6.0 and above
2+ years of experience with .NET development
3+ years of web development including HTML, JavaScript, CSS
1+ years of experience with XML and XSL
2+ years of operational experience with IIS (5 and above)
2+ years of experience with SQL databases, including sound knowledge of SQL
Experience with supporting a highly visible production environment

Additional / Preferred Skills
Experience in development with Portal products (Vignette)
Experience with WebLogic Server 8.1
Operating knowledge of LDAP, and Windows 2003 Server
Knowledge around configuration management using tools such as CVS
Experience using a Java integrated development environments like: NetBeans, Eclipse, or Jdeveloper.
Basic knowledge of Novell e-Directory LDAP interfaces, as well as certificates for both SSL web sites and user authentication.
Knowledge of Vignette Content Management (V7)

Qualified candidates will also possess the following skills:
Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks
Responsible for product installs, upgrades, patches, configurations using strict change control procedures.
Ability to design, implement, debug and execute solutions that meets specifications.
Ability to understand and effectively utilize the technical development environment
Minimum 2 years of experience in structured analysis and systems design
Effective analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to prioritize/communicate conflicting demands
Strong external/internal design, analysis and debugging skills.
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with customers
