As a Senior J2EE Developer, you will be a senior member of the Transactions Applications engineering team responsible for the support of our Compliance and Operational Risk Management business units. You will play a leading role in the development and maintenance of applications that enable critical business functions in the areas of investment compliance, anti-money laundering, and operational risk management. You will direct the technical design, implementation, deployment, and support of Compliance solutions, and work with business teams and systems analyst teams to review/qualify requirements and design/build efficient, scalable solutions. Duties/Responsibilities

Lead a small team of engineers, including offshore vendor resources, in designing and building new applications and functionality
Partner with Project Managers, Technical and QA Leads on estimates, status reports, planning and quality assurance tasks
Partner with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure track work is aligned with the strategic direction of the enterprise
Participate in the development of project estimates and schedules
Develop and represent architectural designs in line with our standards for scalability, fault tolerance, recoverability, component reuse, and performance
Represent the project goals and deliverables with the infrastructure teams and coordinate cross-functional integration efforts across various IS teams
You must possess the following qualities:
