Senior JAVA Developer-Knoxville, TN , 6 month contract to hire engagement (may go 3 months before conversion)US Citizens or GC Holders onlyA Summary of the Position is listed below: *************************************** Nationwide company headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee is in need of a Senior J2EE Developer to join their team. This opportunity is located in Knoxville and will require relocation. Enterprise web application development experience is key and experience working in an extreme programming environment with a fast paced team is helpful. Client is currently building an e-commerce application on an IBM portal. Experience in a similar environment will qualify you for this position. Duties will include full lifecycle design and development. Knoxville, TN 6 month contract to hire engagement.The required skill set includes the following: Java experience (5+ Years) Senior level OOD/OOP (3+ Years) Advanced understanding of and experience with J2EE (Servlet Programming, JNDI) Experience with a J2EE Application Server (WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, etc.) Remote Objects (EJB, CORBA, RMI) JDBC 2.0 Experience JSP Custom Tag Libraries Experience with JDE such as WSAD/Eclipse, Visual Age for Java, etc. JSP 1.2(declarations, expressions, directives, actions, scope) JavaScript / ECMA Script DOM (compliancy, browser compatibility) CSS1 / CSS2 Experience SQL (Selects, prepared statements, callable statements) Practical experience with Regular Expressions HTML (design, layout, tag compatibility) DHTML (event model, properties, browser compatibility) Familiarity with MVC Pattern (Struts experience required) Understanding of Web Statelessness IBM Toolbox for Java (classes AS400, IFS and ProgramCall classes) Basic understanding of XML (Deployment Descriptors, TLDs) XSL and XSL-FO Desired Knowledge of Portlet developmentYou may apply directly with ?id=3322067df-tc
