Senior J2EE Software DeveloperPosition Requirements. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required, MSpreferred.. Requires 5+ years experience in designing and developing complexsystems ,J2EE, Services. Requires 2+ years experience with C++.. Internal/external client consulting experience.. Extremely strong communication and teamwork skills.. Solve complex technical issues and work in a highly-matrixedenvironment.. Strong analytical skills.. Strong object oriented technologies and methodologiesbackground.. Application architectures and design patterns.. Database technologies and Transaction processing (Sybase/DB2 isa plus). Algorithms and data structures.. Multiple programming platforms (C, C++, Java).. Experienced in all or most of : JSP, JSF, Hibernate, Spring,SOAP.Position Description. Work collaboratively with design analysts, quality assuranceanalysts, anddevelopers, along with management, on custom solutions throughout thesoftware development life cycle for custom solutions and enhancements.. Develop custom solutions for clients, leveragingGeneral-Available codecomponents when possible.. Position's focus is on Java/J2EE and Object-Oriented (OO)applicationdesign and deployment of all the solution components.. Coordinate with Architects, System Engineering, QualityAssurance, DesignAnalysts and Project Management on the planning and implementation ofnew features and enhancements, working with external business clientsand other internal organizations.. Participate in all phases of development for enhancements andprojectwork.. Work with QA, Performance Engineering, Configuration andDevelopermanagement and staff to create solid test plans for Unit & SystemTesting.. Participate in the planning and installation for all codereleases.. Develop solutions, following development and documentationstandards, andparticipate in design reviews, code walkthroughs, documentation reviews,and other activities as part of the SDLC.. Assist staff with production issues and/or coding issues,performing bugfixes and conducting unit testing.. Identify opportunities for improvement and guide junior stafftowardsimproved coding technique..
