Description
We are seeking applications from qualified JAVA Developers to function in various areas of the software development cycle - including maintenance and operations support.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability use department management software to accomplish Project Management tasks
  • Interview skills and the ability to establish good relations with customers in order to meet customer business objectives
  • Analyze and interpret user requirements and provide business solutions
  • Translate the user requirements into maintenance and operations specifications
  • Analyze, design, code, test and debug web enabled and web based applications according to Department standards
  • Communicate and work effectively with Information Systems staff at all levels of the organization
  • Work as a team member with other Information Systems sections: Database, Technical Support, Network and Field Support
  • Perform/participate in the disaster recovery test
  • Provide around-the-clock systems support when needed.

--- Required experience ---
  • Two or more years experience as Applications
    Development Analyst with the following:
    • Object Oriented Analysis, Design, Development, Deployment, Support
    • JAVA J2EE
    • Enterprise Java Beans
    • Java Server Pages
    • Java Data Base Connectivity
    • Eclipse Java Editor
    • HTML

  • At least one year experience as Applications Development Analyst with TopLink
  • Proficiency with the following:
    • BEA WebLogic
    • TopLink
    • LINUX
    • Rational ClearCase
    • Rational ClearQuest
    • Rational Tool Administration

  • Proficiency with .NET and/or Crystal Reports
  • Demonstrated Proficiency as a COBOL Applications Development Analyst
  • Demonstrated experience and as lead analyst in a team environment
