Description
Requirements:
The candidate, an experienced Java J2EE engineer and architect, will play a key role in building the our Customer Hub products. The candidate will be involved in all phases of development starting with the interaction with the product and marketing groups defining the features and then taking ownership of these features through design, development and QA. The candidate must have a track record of developing high quality, distributed and scalable solutions and products.

The candidate must be very versatile and able to contribute in all phases of the development process. This is a position requiring a very broad skill set. The candidate has to be able to operate on the high level of abstraction when involved in the product design meetings and get down into the low level coding details later in the development cycle.

Experience / Qualification:
7+ years of Software Development experience in a product company is required along with a minimum of 2 years of J2EE and . This experience should include successfully shipping products and taking them through multiple releases.
Strong team player and communication skills.
Hands on knowledge of the J2EE stack and Java server side programming in a large system / application environment including the availability, scalability, clustering, and performance design patterns.
Object Oriented Analysis and Design using Java or C++.
Understanding of the application development and deployment life cycle and methodologies.
Strong expertise with one of the leading J2EE app. Servers (Websphere, JBoss, Weblogic).
Deep knowledge of one of the major database platforms.
Practical experience with application integration, XML, and message driven architectures.
BS in CS or equivalent.
The following skills are a plus:
Developing the portable J2EE solutions.
Experience with building CRM and/or EAI platforms and products.
Combination of a startup and large development organization experience.
Experience with multiple database platforms (ORACLE, SQL Server, DB2).
MS in CS or equivalent.
