If you are a highly motivated and self-directed Senior J2EE Engineer who can develop sophisticated, robust, high performance, and scalable J2EE applications using proven and effective technologies, we would like to speak with you as soon as possible!




PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:




Develop applications for of a high volume consumer website for a high-profile, nationally recognized, very profitable, pre-IPO Internet company
Work with cutting edge technologies including Flash, J2EE, Hibernate, WebLogic, video, and Oracle
Work with Quality Assurance to test functional product features
Work closely with product management in defining new product features and specifications
Work with Web Operations on deployment of new releases and application management



REQUIRED SKILLS:



Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-effort, dynamic work environment
Strong technical and design skills
Excellent Java Skills (JAVA 5 experience preferred)
Experienced at leading development life cycle process and best practices, hiring and mentoring in a technical organization
Ability to learn new technologies
Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, and listening skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including non-technical
UML experience and ability to design class diagrams and sequence diagrams
Ability to participate in a cross-functional team environment
5+ years industry experience in software development




MINIMUM
JOB
QUALIFICATIONS:



BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Excellent understanding of OOD and OOP
Hands on experience with ORM Tools such as Hibernate or TopLink
Experience developing high volume consumer websites
