Watch us grow. Recently infused with over $8mm in funding, we are looking to build a world-class UI for product. We are seeking an experienced Java UI engineer who will play a key role in building the Activity Console and MRManager products. The candidate will be involved in all phases of development starting with the interaction with the product and marketing groups defining the features and then taking ownership of these features through design, development and QA. The candidate must be very versatile and able to:
Interface with the product management team and develop the UI prototypes;
Contribute to the system architecture, take ownership of design and development of the major components and user interfaces;
Develop and maintain the UI components and unit tests;
Participate in the code, design and documentation reviews;

Experience:
The following skills are required:
7+ years of Software Development experience in a product company is required along with a minimum of 3+ years of Java UI development.
1+ years experience coding multi-threaded JAVA Swing code
Successfully shipping the products and taking them through multiple releases;
Demonstrated ability to design and build complex user interfaces;
Experience with usability testing and evaluation;
Understanding of the application development and deployment life cycle and methodologies;
Object Oriented Analysis and Design using Java or C++;
Strong team player and excellent communication skills;
BS in CS or equivalent

The following skills are a plus:
Experience with JSP, XML, XSLT and other web development technologies;
Experience with building development, data modeling, EAI, or BPM UIs.
Experience with 3 tier J2EE systems built using the EJBs.
Combination of a startup and large development organization experience;
Experience with multiple database platforms (ORACLE, SQL Server, DB2);
Experience Eclipse (IBM UI)
MS in CS or equivalent
