Description
Our client, a major healthcare company is looking for a Senior Java Developer to be responsible for the analysis, design, development, performance analysis and tuning, testing, and support for full life cycle Java projects. Successful Candidate must have the following skills:
. 5+ years of hands-on software development experience in a broad range of technologies, specifically technologies associated with Java server-side development.

. Be an expert in object oriented analysis and design concepts, and design patterns.

. Experience with full life cycle projects.

. Outstanding programming experience in Java.

. Strong industry experience in all J2EE technologies including servlets, XML, EJB, JDBC, JNDI, JMS.

. Unix experience from a user's perspective.

. Good experience with one or more application servers like iPlanet, WebSphere, and JBoss.


Desirable skills would include:

. Programming experience in SQL desirable.

. Experience with using DB2, UDB.

. MQ Series experience.

. Web Services experience (VERY DESIRABLE).

. Good communication skills.

. BS/MS in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
