Senior Java/J2EE Developer/Solutions Developer

6 month duration

Required Skills:

*Strong experience in design, development, documentation and testing of Java/J2EE products
*BS in information systems, computer science, or other IT related field
*Ability to work individually and in team
*Excellent written and communication skills
*Experience writing JUnit test cases
*Experience with JBoss Application server
*Experience with log4j, JSP, Servlets, Hibernate, EJBs and Ant
*Experience with Sub Version
*Experience with Oracle database

Desirable Skills:

*Experience and/or education in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and/or Medical Insurance industry.
*Experience with JBoss portal or any other portal application server
*Experience with JSF, tiles, AJAX, Maven a plus

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist Technical Analysts in construction of use cases, technical and functional requirements
Cooperate and work autonomously in the design of UIs and Services
Ensure consistency to best practices and standards across component design and development
Assist in the development of JUnit test cases
Prepare High-level and Detail-level Design documents
Serve as a consultant and mentor in the design and construction of UIs and services
Assist Project Managers in development of project plans
