Description
Pierce Technology Corporation is an established professional services company with a focus on providing information technology services to Fortune 500 companies in the NY/NJ/PA area, on both a consulting and permanent basis. Pierce has an immediate opening with a corporation in New Jersey. Client is looking for a senior, seasoned developer who has either architected mid-tier solutions or helped to do so, who has done code reviews and set standards for more junior developers, and who can bring energy and a can-do attitude to the team. A positive work ethic and high character and commitment. Summary: Candidate will help build out a CRM application (JSPs with servlets writing to an Oracle back end) and maintain several online survey tools.

Requirements:

Skills & Requirements: 5+ Years of experience working as a Senior J2EE Developer. Server side experience with MS, Linux. Minimum of 5 years of object oriented programming. Required: Java, JSP (incl. custom tags), EJB, Servlets, Servlet API, RMI, MBEAN, JARs, EARs, Message Queuing (JMS), ANT, JUNIT, Spring or Hibernate, Apache Struts 4, Design Patterns, Frameworks, Ability to refactor code to extract common patterns (GoF0, Database, XML, XSD & XML.). Experience working with JBoss and Weblogic. A minimum of two (2) years experience in Oracle 8i or 9i SQL databases. Systems and Application Architecture skills. Desired Skills: Experience with Struts, SSL, cookies a plus. DHTML, Javascript, HTML, JBuilder, XML, CVS, SendMail, Hybernate. Knowledge of XDoclet or WebDoclet a plus (code generator for EJB development). Skilled with UML, UseCase and OOD Methodologies. Development budgeting and management a plus. Familiarity with .NET framework or other Microsoft technologies are also a bonus.
