Senior Java/J2EE Fixed Income
Location: Whippany, NJ (This position can possibly be in Midtown, if desired)
Total Comp 150 to 175K

Job Description
5 + years development experience in Java/J2EE environment. Candidate must have strong Java Knowledge and development experience. Demonstrated expertise in a J2EE environment is also required. BEA Weblogic experience is a huge plus. The candidate should also have strong relational database expertise, either Sybase or Oracle. This experience should include schema design, stored procedure development and performance tuning.

Versatile expertise in either Unix/Linux development environment or Windows environment is required. Any experience with .Net is a plus.

The candidate must also possess good communication skills, oral and written. The candidate must be seasoned enough to follow specifications and also participate in writing specifications. This position involves both new software development as well as existing software maintenance and production support.

Minimum Requirements:
Platforms: Unix/Linux

Database Systems: Java/J2EE

Other Programming Skills: C#, VBA

Business Knowledge: Financial/Fixed Income Background required.
