Senior Java Software Engineer - San Jose

Responsibilities:
? Implement (code), unit test, and deploy multi-tiered enterprise software and solutions
? Quickly digest and apply new technologies to proposed solutions
? Seamlessly assimilate into small teams of developers working on a diversity of projects
? Pay diligent attention to detail and communicate clearly and proactively with superiors and customers
? Document code and solutions
? Occasional travel within the Bay Area (San Jose & Pleasanton)

Qualifications

? 4+ years of Java software engineering experience. Server and/or Client-side
? Knowledge of complex, data-driven Web application development
? Some systems administration experience a plus
? Experience with (as many as possible):
? Scalable, distributed systems
? Multithreaded and distributed applications.
? Windows, Unix, Linux, BSD
? XML and Web services
? Complex SQL (including stored procedures and triggers)
? DB2, Oracle, MySQL, Sybase, MS SQL, Informix
? Naming and directory services (LDAP, JNDI)
? J2EE application servers (JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere) or Tomcat
? Web servers (Apache, iPlanet)
? SWING and using components in Java applications
? BS, BSE, MSE or PhD
