Description
We are a new interactive media startup focused on video in stealth mode right now and are looking for some experienced Java web developers to come and join our team. We are backed by industry veterans from the technology and entertainment industry. Principal owners are also mainstream celebrities. We are currently well financed through various angels.
This company hasnt been talked about in the news (we did this on purpose) but we have a product that is going to raise the bar in the online advertising space. Talk is cheap but we have a highly experienced & seasoned team that will challenge you and push you to the limits to help build out our product for a debut in Q1, 2008.

We offer a flexible work environment which includes work-life balance including tele-commuting (work from home), but will require you to be in the office a couple days a week to facilitate collaboration.

Qualifications:
What we look for most in a person is not the degrees, but the can do attitude because time and time again, tenacious attitudes and the willingness to work hard and not give up carry the most weight when we measure our people.
Extensive experience in J2EE technologies, with a strong understanding of the common design frameworks like Struts & Spring.
Deep understanding of query Tuning concepts, Web Security concepts like Man in Middle attacks, cross site scripting, sql injection, phishing etc.
Deep understanding of Analytics, video a plus
Extensive experience in configuring and deploying applications on JBoss, clustering
Extensive experience with Apache
Familiarity with db admin tasks like db clustering, db configuration etc (mysql)
Experience in working with build utilities like Ant & Maven
Automated build systems like cruise control
Ability to write db components like Stored procs, Functions, Triggers etc for MySQL
Basic Understanding of networking, and ability to work with SANs
CSS & HTML Experience
Management & Leadership experience is a great plus. There will be several developers on the team and working together is a must.

Package:
Salary: $70-95,000 per year based on experience as a full time employee.

Stock Option Package: Depends on experience and role you are hired for
Bonus: Based on Year 1 Performance either cash or stock
Benefits Company will consider after 6 months of full time employment
