Description
Evaluate the testing requirements of complex business applications. Develop (plan out / code) and execute automated regression and performance test scripts using a combination of tools to include Mercury's QuickTest Pro, WinRunner and LoadRunner. Maintain automated script "library" to ensure that scripts created remain current and are reusable. Skills required include: Programming experience in both Visual Basic and C++. Other programming experience (e.g. Java) helpful. Experience / familiarity with Mercury automated test tools. Strong analytical, problem solving & troubleshooting skills. Mid to advanced level knowledge in the use of MS Excel and Access. Knowledge of software testing methodologies and quality assurance principles, procedures and standards. This position is a Senior / Lead Test Scriptor. Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Lead Test Scriptor with experience in: writing, executing, maintaining test scripts using Mercury Interactive QuickTest Pro Tool. Also, requires experience developing and executing performance tests using Mercury Interactive Load Runner Tool.
