Our client is a startup in the multiplayer online gaming industry. The executive team has extensive leadership and startup experience in Silicon Valley. The online gaming industry is the hottest and fastest growing sector in the technology industry. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor working with a world-class software engineering team in developing emerging technologies.This is a hands-on position. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering, building, and scaling Linux servers; installing and maintaining web server applications; maintaining firewall security; and network/server load balancing.df-tc

Experience/Skills
• 5+ years of hands-on build, configuration, design, deployment and scalability of Linux server hardware (preferably Dell server hardware)• 5+ years of proven track record for architecting solutions for Linux platforms using programming languages such as Java, Perl, and Python• 3+ years experience of web server administration (Apache Tomcat, Java Servlet, and JavaServer Pages)• 3+ years experience with firewall security; network architecture, and network/server load balancing is highly desirable• MySQL experience preferred• Ideal candidate has experience working for established Internet portal companies with high volume, high Internet traffic such as Yahoo, Google, and etc…Salary: OPEN + stock optionsIf you meet these requirements, please contact Michael Louie at Michael.louie@rht.com for immediate consideration.
