Leading global investment bank has an immediate need for a Senior Mainframe Systems Developer to join the technology team at their Jersey City, NJ location on a long-term consultant basis. In this role, you will be involved in a project related to Mainframe Application conversion to a distributed Java application. To be successful in this excellent assignment, you must possess: *Between 7-10yrs of hands-on programming experience working with Cobol, VSAM, CICS,and DB2 and have extensive knowledge of IBM mainframe. *Experience working in the financial industry (securities, investment management, banking, portfolio management, etc). *Knowledge of IBM MQ is a huge plus. *Experience in documentation writing and any knowledge of distributed applications is a big plus.
