Description
Great long term contract opportunity for a Senior Mainframe Programmer Analyst to perform analysis and develop code in more than one programming language. This individual must have the ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form and have the ability to establish and maintain a good working relationship within and outside the development team. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to grasp new technology quickly. Responsibilities will include the following: development of business objects, DAO helpers, translators and JSP; writing programming code in multiple programming languages; utilization of the Rational Unified Process (RUP) project methodology. Preference will be given to candidates with extensive analyst/programmer experience in the state government sector with 3 or more years of mainframe experience.df-tc
