Senior leader responsible for long range planning and management. Establishes technology roadmap as well as department plans and budgets. Attends management reviews. Has created Technology Road Map for $100mm+ business in computers or audio/videoSuccessfully developed, implemented and managed $5M+ engineering budget including planning, monitoring and reporting.Has been involved in vendor evaluation and selection.Has successful experience working with Asian and Europena suppliers.Has developed engineering standards and processesUnderstands financials and cost controls and has developed cost tracking procedures Track record for delivering commercially successful products on time and on budget.Mentored staff.Worked with legal counsel on patents, licenses and contract labor.Successfully recruited and managed outside contract resources.
