Job Summary This position =
provides IT (Information Technology) management and oversight of the =
operation of the global Corporation IT infrastructure.

/>Primary operational activities include:
. Management of server, =
client, network & telephony infrastructure. This includes: security, =
patch management, planned downtime coordination, unplanned downtime =
response.
. Development, communication and measurement of =
performance to service level agreements (SLAs).
. Management =
oversight of the Corporate Systems & Network and HelpDesk teams, =
including: staffing, performance monitoring/management, management =
support, mentorship, learning and development.
. Development of, =
and management to, financial budgets for Corporate IT Operations.
. =
Building and sustaining a liaison relationship with other IT functions =
as well as business functions, both at Corporate and in regional =
geographies.
. Establishment of, and auditing compliance to, =
procedures & policies for: backups, account maintenance, remote access, =
and infrastructure security.

Strategic expectations include: =
long-term strategic planning; capacity planning; architecture planning =
of server and network products, services and technologies; capacity =
planning; liaison to development and regional IT centers; and vendor =
management. Participates with other IT senior managers to establish =
strategic plans and objectives supporting the long-term business goals =
of the company.

Requires a working understanding of project =
management methodologies such as Cadence. This position may infrequently =
require direct responsibility for managing IT Operations projects. This =
position will be responsible for managing the portfolio of IT Operations =
projects, and the support of Corporate Cross-Functional Projects (CFPs). =

7-10 years previous experience in the management of IT =
organizations or teams, with demonstrated leadership and general =
supervision of an IT organization or team, prioritizing and assigning =
tasks and checking work at broad intervals. Demonstrated ability to =
delegate to a team, and to act as an escalation point. Demonstrated =
history of job assignments of increasing responsibility and scope.

Demonstrated ability to receive assignments in the form of =
abstract objectives, establish goals to meet those objectives, measure =
performance to those goals, and finally to do closed-loop analysis of =
the results for continuous improvement. Provides guidance and direction =
to subordinates to achieve goals; results are reviewed and measured =
based on meeting objectives and schedules. Establishes and recommends =
changes to policies which effect the organization on a departmental and =
global level.

Demonstrated ability to work on problems of =
broad scope and complexity, with regional and global implications. =
Problems are of varying scope and complexity, where analysis of =
situation or data requires evaluation of intangible factors. =
Participates with other IT senior managers to establish strategic plans =
and objectives.

Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment =
within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods and =
techniques for obtaining solutions.

Demonstrated ability to =
resolve controversial situations, negotiations with vendors and =
suppliers, and the ability to influence and persuade others. =
Demonstrated ability to positively interact and negotiate with =
functional peer groups, and all levels of management in the company.

Experience with some, or all, of the current infrastructure =
elements (Sun Solaris, Oracle Applications and RDBMS, Cisco ip-telephony =
& networks, Nortel telelphony, and Microsoft clients) is required.
/>
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent. =
7-10 years of industry experience in the support of IT infrastructures =
with several years of enterprise level experience. Consistent ability to =
effectively understand and satisfy end-user requests with a professional =
attitude. Performing other duties and responsibilities as may be =
required. Knowledgeable and well-versed on enterprise caliber of IT =
infrastructures and technologies.
