Description
The Sr. Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Infrastructure Delivery & Logistics group.The incumbent must interface across all technology channels to collaborate on directions, to manage changes, to establish relative priorities, to overcome obstacles, and to deliver results.

The Sr. Manager must also work closely with business unit leaders, end users, and other departments to ensure strategies and plans are aligned with overall business and technology goals, and coordination of activities is effectively executed concerning solution approach, deployment, and training.The incumbent must work in concert with business leaders and peer technology leaders to ensure that IT investments are optimized across the organization’s portfolios of services, resources, projects, and processes, while maintaining the big picture view of the technology landscape and a vision of how teams and activities should work together.The incumbent is held responsible for talent development and budget management, as well as resource allocations, optimization, and commitments.


AREAS OF CONCENTRATION
A key aspect of this position will be focusing on the following:
· Management of people, budget, projects, priorities, and services
· Leading and advancing the organization with respect to capabilities and maturity in support of the firm goals
· Accountable for the planning and delivery of results (scope, cost, time, and quality) from the project management perspective, monitoring and tracking project progress, and making corrections and escalations where and when appropriate
· Interacting and working closely with the respective stakeholders, program managers, and portfolio managers to coordinate and apprise them of progress and issues
· Interacting and working closely with various resource managers to negotiate on resource scheduling, assignments, and priorities

Experience/Skills
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Collaborate with technology leaders throughout Asurion to drive and implement technology solutions, processes, and directions within the firm

B. Shape, articulate, recommend, and promote the team’s strategy and plans to meet tactical and strategic business needs, including how productivity and efficiency can be improved, how consistency and predictability (i.e., no surprises) can be achieved, and how project delivery satisfaction can be met or exceeded

C. Provide technology, process, and people oversight and guidance in the areas of project management, delivery, and logistics, including the proper handover of solutions from development to operations

D. Lead the development, practice, and institutionalization of the IT Operations Model within the IT Infrastructure organization

E. Manage a team of project managers, create an innovative environment, establish goals and priorities, propose and manage budget, allocate resources, develop controls and metrics, and ensure quality deliverables in the most cost-effective manner according to established firm-wide and department-wide standards, procedures, and processes, adhering to the firm core value of building talent in a rewarding work environment

F. Responsible for ensuring client satisfaction and cross-functional communications, as well as promoting and nurturing teamwork among peer groups, adhering to the firm core values of One Team driving results and devoting to customer service

G. Responsible for the recruiting, leadership, mentoring, coaching, supervision, development, and retention of all personnel in the group, including the regular review of goals, performance, compensation, and succession planning

H. Provide consultation and advice to firm leaders on investment, benefits, implications, and emerging trends with respect to people, technology, and processes

The Sr. Manager will work closely with business and technology leaders within the firm on directions, strategies, investments, priorities, plans, and service deliveries, as well as respective resource managers for the delivery of results.
