We have an immediate need for a Senior Quality Assurance Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Overview
This position drives the quality and customer satisfaction of all products.

Deliver day-to-day support of application software, while meeting the following objectives:
- Alignment with company business strategy
- Provide quality products to market
- Ensure customer satisfaction with the companys business systems
- Ensure adequate testing of company business systems
- Compliance with the company Software Development Life Cycle
- Alignment with company outsourcing strategy


Primary Responsibilities:

Oversees the direction of the quality assurance team for business systems
Plans and executes to PMO project schedules based on defined release plans
Develops QA plans to meet committed release schedules
Develops plans for continual improvement to reduce business systems test cycle time
Conducts QA tools research and leads proof of concept improvement trials
Develops QA plans for off-shore portions of routine system testing
Directs and manages all offshore QA improvement projects
Ensures the appropriate number of offshore QA Analysts (with the required skill levels) are in place to support QA deliverables.
Maintain and enhance QA offshore metrics
Develops and implements long term plans to consolidate all QA activity across the company
Directs and implements company IT testing environments


Skills Requirements:

Deep experience in managing application software quality assurance testing
Proven record of managing large complex technology projects
Strong driver to achieve team results
Demonstrated ability to work as team player in a collaborative culture
Demonstrated knowledge of leading edge automated and manual testing and support center technology
Strong project management skills
Strong leadership skills
Ability to adapt quickly to change
Strong presentation skills
Strong Microsoft Office Skills


Educational Requirements:

Completion of a bachelors degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration or Computer Science. An MBA or masters degree in Information Technology, Engineering or Project Management is a plus.
