Description
This is an excellent opportunity to join Capital One’s eCommerce department as a Senior Technical Lead of the Online Marketing and Sales Platforms.

Leads the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems. Provides functional, technical, and/or process leadership. Define and drive cross-platform coding standards and web logic portal reuse framework. Drives tactical delivery for multiple teams. Works with analysts, project managers, architects and customers to understand the scope of work, priorities, and requirements for development. Works with performing teams to deliver new capabilities in business applications and/or remediate issues.

Responsibilities:
· Works with the architects and tech leads to ensure alignment to architecture standards
· Identifies and drives coding standards across applications.
· Identifies and drives reuse of components and services in web logic portal applications
· Partners with technology operations to define design for optimal performance across shared infrastructure.
· Analyzes, defines and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks, controls, and outputs.
· Contributes to defining time tables and project plans; analyzes and estimates feasibility, cost, time, and compatibility with hardware and other programs. Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved.
· Provides technical guidance and leadership to multiple teams.
· Performs complex applications programming activities.
· Works on unusually complex technical or enterprise-wide problems and develops highly innovative solutions.
· Mentor/Coach Tech Leads to provide innovative, reliable and reusable software solutions

Basic Qualifications:
3Years experience in Software Development Life Cycle - requirements gathering/reviews; systems and application design; development and testing
·3 Years experience in Design - individual components (programs, sub-routines), complete systems, interaction of multiple systems
· 1 Year experience in Project Management

· Direct WebLogic Portal experience required (8.1 minimum, 9.2 and 10.x desired)
· Desktops, books, pages, shell, and layout creation experience
· UUP, content selector, skin and skeleton development experience
· JPF, WSRP, Java, and portlet development experience required
· Experience integrating with web services
· Basic Linux command line and scripting expertise
· Experience working in agile development environment
· Experience with Interwoven CMS requested
· Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
