Job Title: Sr. Manager, Technology

Job Summary: The Sr. Manager, Technology will oversee the application and implementation of enterprise technology for major IT investment programs. Additionally, this role will be responsible for managing technology teams from definition phase through implementation, as well as contribute to business development.

Responsibilities may include:
  • Work with the client's IT organization to establish technology strategy at an investment level.
  • Provide technical leadership.
  • Trusted advisor and representative to major client stakeholders.
  • Establish high, mid and low level plans and set technical direction for a team of up to 15 people.
  • Lead the estimation effort for projects and work to identify and manage risk.
  • Prepare elements of sales proposals to represent Sapient's technical expertise.
  • Mentor more junior project members.

    Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required and degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, package implementation, interactive design, and IT project expenditure planning.
  • Proven experience managing technical consulting teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and technical writing skills.
  • Experience consulting and briefing executives for major IT programs and investments.
  • Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process to effectively be able to manage a sub-team through the complexities of the business solution.
  • Experience with Object Oriented Technologies and Enterprise Databases
  • Minimum of 5 years developing web applications.
  • Must be clearable for a government security clearance.

    Desired:
  • Experience in a Consulting environment.
  • Experience on Government projects.
  • Active security clearance.
