Senior NOC/ISP Operations Management ConsultantSummary:
Operational experience in a Service Provider NOC is mandatory
Project Manager certification is preferred but necessary.
Start date is immediate (Will need to interview with 2 client managers)

The Senior Consultant will take a leadership technical position in the analysis, design and implementation of large-scale system integration and development initiatives including Network Management Systems, Systems Management, and Applications Management for ISPs, Telcos and other E-Commerce clients. Characteristics include: a solid command of technology and architectural concepts; provides high quality consulting expertise to clients; manages on-site projects and deliverables; tracks status, expenses, billing and budget estimates; provides client interaction and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness. The successful candidate will work independently on client engagements with minimal direct supervision and may be required to oversee the work of others. Must have strong negotiation skills.

Essential Job Functions:

Provides project leadership in the delivery of high quality solutions to customers that meet technical and business requirements.

Solid understanding of return on investment (ROI) analysis.

Work with client management and staff to integrate the clients business objectives, current technical infrastructure and state of the art technologies into enterprise-wide solutions.

Participate in lifecycle project management including requirements analysis, design and implementation as well as timely and accurate reporting.

Design and/or assess operational processes for effective enterprise wide network and systems technology management.

Apply interpersonal skills to communicate with both technical and business oriented individuals.

Apply prior experience in network systems and/or business operations.

Apply working knowledge of configuration management and automated software rollout.

Apply working knowledge of OSS/BSS systems and functions in a Telecom environment.

PMI-certified project management professional (PMP) desired.

Minimum of 10 years of experience required.

Minimum Position Requirements:

Advanced degree in MIS field required as well experience working in large network operations center environments. Demonstrable experience in writing technical documents, presentations and proposals required. A high degree of interpersonal skill in working with various levels of technical and business oriented individuals is required. Prior experience in a consulting environment is required.
