Description
This position will be primarily responsible for the servers, workstations, handhelds, and software components that are currently proposed as additions to the City's computer network.

Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Administration
Support of Inspectors Handheld Computers and Field Printers
Installation and Maintenance of Microsoft SMS (Systems Management Server)
Installation of DHCP Server Services
Support of Arcatron VoteLynx System
Support of Council Chambers Notebooks / All other City Notebooks
Installation and Support of Document Management System / Scanners
ProLaw Server Upgrade and Maintenance
Provide Personal Computer Support as directed.
Performs any other related duties as directed.

Experience/Skills
Prefer a bachelor's degree in computer science and a minimum of 5 years of responsible current hands-on experience with Microsoft and Novell server administration, operation, and support, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform this work. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification required. Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2003 is required.
