Description
Senior Network Configuration Management Engineer will maintain and manage network hardware and software configuration in support of the integration and test lab(s) on a DOD project.

This position requires US citizenship and active DOD Secret clearance.

This is a highly visible position, serving as a liaison to the program-level configuration management organization.

As a team member of an Integration and Test team:
- Define and control the lab's baseline for network, hardware, software and COTS configurations.
- Maintain and manage configuration information such as diagrams, config. files, scripts, install and test procedures, and other documents;
- Track and coordinate software/hardware deliveries and installations to the labs.
- Track and manage software/hardware defects and configuration/installation issues;
- Track COTS software, custom tools and licenses acquired and used by the labs;
- Support baseline integration efforts as necessary;
- Support configuration status accounting and conduct configuration audits as necessary;
- Provide CM secretariat support for Review boards as necessary.

Experience/Skills
- BS deg. in Computer Science, Electrical Eng. or Network Eng.;
- 5-10 yrs of exp. as hands-on Configuration Manager or a Systems/Network Engineer focused on managing network and software baselines & COTS hw/sw configuration and integration;
- Some Systems/Network Admin. exp. desired;
- Working knowl. of Unix and Win/2K OS with some scripting ability a plus;

Other desired skills:
- BS deg. in Computer Science, Electrical Eng. or Network Eng.;
- 5-10 yrs of exp. as hands-on Configuration Manager or a Systems/Network Engineer focused on managing network and software baselines & COTS hw/sw configuration and integration;
