Senior Network Design Engineer, Telecommunication.(network design, MPLS, WAN, CISCO, BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, Nortel, Juniper, CCIE, CoS, QoS, Multicast, ATM, Frame relay)A global telecommunication vendor is searching for a network design engineer, the network design engineer will be responsible for design, testing, validation and implementation of customer engineering projects. You will also be required to contribute technically to the strategic direction of the team and act as a technical interface between the client and the business Post sales and project delivery phase.You Will need to have seven years or more experience in design, engineering, and implementation of large global wide area network (WAN) infrastructure, and be able to deliver customer connectivity solutions. You must have in depth working knowledge of TCP/IP, CISCO Routers and switch networks and network protocols/architecture including BGP, OSPF, CoS/QoS, Multicast, NAT Solutions, MPLS/MPLS VPNs, IPSec, Frame relay, Metro ethernet, ATM, Leased line, POS and switched architecture (CISCO, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF and Cos/Qos are mandatory). Every applicant needs to have 3-5 years experience within telecommunications or financial services and a minimum of 7 years of design. You will also be required to have a thorough understanding of network provider organisations and carrier service providers. The network design engineer will also have current hands on experience with a range of vendor equipment's such as CISCO Routers/switches, Netscreen firewalls etc. It is highly desired that the network design engineer is a CCIE or equivalent.
