Description
Senior Network Engineer experienced configuring, testing, and maintaining hardware and software elements in a large scale data communications network. The Engineer should be self-motivated, a team player, possess excellent communications skills, and be able to multi-task in a quick paced environment. System administration duties will primarily be focused upon configuration, installation and support of Cisco 3845, 2611, 1751 routers and Cisco 3550 and 2950 switches supporting a large, highly available, multi-tiered system architecture. Other duties also to include support of Windows Active Directory implementation, Windows Server 2003 installation, Group Policy implementation, and logon scripting. Skills required for this position are: Experience installing, and configuring Cisco routers and switches required; experience with Windows Server 2003, Active Directory, DNS, Sun Solaris servers, RAID arrays, SANs a plus; excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience documenting an Enterprise scale network required; experience with MS patch management; experience installing and configuration MS applications (SQL 2000, SMS 2003, AD 2003); ability to troubleshoot complex Active Directory issues; ability to implement OU architecture; knowledge of Forest/Domain architecture and implementation; experience designing and configuring Enterprise Group Policy; XP Professional Desktop.
