Senior Network Engineer/Analyst

Job description:

We are currently seeking to add a highly technical Senior Network Engineer/Analyst to our 7ticks team. The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and expanding our high performance global network.

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of the Network Engineer will include:

• Identifying and resolving complex data networking problems utilizing structured troubleshooting methods, techniques and tools
• Making decisions requiring analytical, interpretative and evaluative thinking; decisions may not conform to established patters; may oversee decisions made by others
• Monitoring all networking infrastructure to ensure service level agreements
• Providing customer technical support and escalations

Qualifications:

Please only apply if you have:

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in network support, design, and architecture
• Sniffer Tracing of Data Networks
• CCNA/CCNP or equivalent experience in an enterprise or provider network
• Expert knowledge of Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN concentrators
• Strong understanding of Data Center technologies
• Strong understanding of securing local and remote networks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work on a team or in an individual setting

Pluses:

• Multicast in a switched/routed network
• VRF design and implementation
• BGP and OSPF protocols
• Packet and flow analysis
• Trading industry experience
