Description
We are interested in hiring a Senior Network Engineer / Architect for large-scale project management of the Local Area Network and Wide Area Network. Network Engineers with 5+ years of experience in network design, architecture and implementation, LAN / WAN interfacing, security, Internet protocols, VoIP and IPCC and server and network infrastructure are currently being interviewed. Main Responsibilities:• Provides support and escalation services for 24x7 network operations• Contributes to the overall vision and direction for network/telco services• Performs analytical, technical and administrative work in the planning, design, installation, documentation and administration of all telecommunication and network systems• Serves as lead technical troubleshooter on complex data and voice network problems including working with vendors of related equipment and services• Maintains network domain services• Maintains company network security systems (Firewall, Remote Access), including monitoring of ongoing security threats and developing preventative measures to mitigate corporate security exposure• Maintains network health monitoring and notification tools• Maintains telecommunication and data circuits/vendors (PRIs, T1, Private Lines, POTS, etc.)• Maintains network infrastructure hardware including ongoing software/firmware patches or upgrades, and bandwidth analysis• Documents network architecture and topology• Documents run books for network availability and management• Support end users as required to provide a positive customer experience including after hour coverage• Assists with other IT related special projects as determined by business need• Develops and implements policies and procedures relative to telecommunication, data network and Internet security• Coordinates with peer and contract‐consulting staff to achieve project deliverables and time lines• Proactively identifies ongoing cost optimization, performance enhancement, and growth strategies• Assists CIO in budget preparation, cost analysis and long range planning including proactively assessing network and telecommunication needs and providing recommendations.

Experience/Skills
Experience and Education Required:• At least 7 years of hands‐on experience implementing CISCO equipment including: routers, ASA/PIXfirewalls, switches, Candidate must have extensive knowledge of telecommunications and computernetwork design including hands‐on experience in implementing and managing LAN/WANs• MUST have experience with CISCO VOIP implementation and administration• MUST have experience with CISCO IPCC call center• MUST have advanced routing protocol experience including BGP, EIGRP, etc.• Experience with SNMP monitor and alert systems• Must have multisite MPLS and High availability experience (Including DMVPN experience)• Security experience hardening and managing public facing networks• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or technical equivalent is highly preferred
