POSITION REQUIRES BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG TESTING

Candidate will support a large, highly available, multi-tiered system architecture. Occasional off-hours support is required. Travel to Baltimore facility will be needed. Candidate should be self-motivated, a team player, possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and be able to multi-task in a qjuick paced environment.

Position Requires:

Experience configuring, testing and maintaining hardware and software elements in a large scale data communications network.

Experience installing & configuring CISCO routers and switches is required (3845, 2611, 1751 routers; 3550, 2950 switches)
Experience with Windows Server 2003 installs/configs, Active Directory implementation, DNS, Sun Solaris Servers; RAID arrays, SANs a Plus
Support Windows Active Directory implementation, Windows Server 2003 installs, group policy implementation and longon scripts.
Experience documenting an Enterprise scale network is REQUIRED!
MUST possess EXCELLENT verbal and written communication skills
Experience in MS Patch Management, MS applications installs and configs; SQL 2000 - AD 2003)
Able to troubleshoot complex Active Directory issues; ability to implement OU architecture
Knowledge of Forest/Domain architecture and implementation
Experience designing and configuring Enterprise Group Policy; XP Professional Desktop
Industry certifications are HIGHLY DESIRED

This is a six month contract position - starting April 10 - till October 2006 (probably longer)

Job location: Rancho Carmel (San Diego)

Hourly rate: $70.00 - 80.00 per hour W-2
