* Design sustainable network engineering solutions
* Plan and implement future installations of network equipment
* Capacity planning
* High-level analysis and troubleshooting of network infrastucture
* Work with vendors to resolve network related issues
* Document and design of current and new installations
* Function as a subject matter expert for network engineering, implementation, and maintainence

Experience/Skills
* 7+ years experience in a 24x7, global, mission critical environment
* Large scale LAN design, implementation and management in a Cisco environment: Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VPN concentrators
* Real-time data experience
* Expert knowledge of routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BRG
* Experienec with telecommunication carrier technologies: DS-1, DS-3, OC-48
* Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Cisco certified
* Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or related field

Other desired skills:
