EDGE Professional Services is looking for a Senior Network Engineer for a one year contract.

Senior Network Engineer
Desired Skills and Experience:
â?¢ Server and network support, together with project management skills are essential.
â?¢ Possess an extensive knowledge of Cisco network equipment with recent experience designing and deploying enterprise scale routed and switched networks.
â?¢ Possess an extensive knowledge of Expand Accelerator devices with recent experience designing and deploying these devices in frame relay and ATM networks.
â?¢ Recent work experience with network based WAN and LAN simulators and protocol capture and analysis.
Job Description:
â?¢ Prepare technical design and implementation documentation using Microsoft application software, including Word, Visio and PowerPoint.
â?¢ The candidate will be a member of the IT Services team and will be capable of making significant decisions alone, based on a sound analytical approach.
â?¢ They will demonstrate the ability to time-manage and prioritize, take a pro-active approach to improving network services, and have an innovative and keen interest in learning new technologies.
â?¢ The candidate will provide network and technical support across all operating systems.
â?¢ In practice, the candidate's time will be spent in covering three main areas: Installing and configuring new network components, Implementation of network management (monitoring and alerting) solutions, and development and support of networked services.
â?¢ Desired Experience: 7+ years IT experience with demonstrated growth path; Bachelor's degree/Master's degree preferred.df-tc
