Location: Warner Robins Air Force Base (31098)

TEST: Cisco Networking

Must Haves:

Top Secret Security Clearance (Either Granted or Pending)
US Citizenship
4 or more years experience with Cisco Networking Equipment in a Department of Defense Environment(Routers, Switches, etc)
Cisco Certification
Working Knowledge of Ethernet, FDDI (Fiber Distributed Data Interface), ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode)networking technologies.

Job Description:

Computer System Analyst/Networking - Has a working knowledge of interrelationship of products. Will exercise some self-direction and decision-making.

Applies knowledge of hardware and/or software engineering principles and practices in the area of system integration or project management.

Carries out assignments requiring new or improved techniques and procedures.

Provide System, Network and Security consulting and analysis services.

Position will involve some travel to various DOD sites to perform site surveys, gather network system data, and develop analysis/recommendations for SIPRNET/LAN/WAN upgrades.

Utilizes network analysis tools in order to monitor the status and provide reporting reflecting the overall network health of the Air Force.

Performs system maintenance including backups, log file analysis, file maintenance, and monitoring of computer systems required to support NIPRNET\SIPRNET operations.

Assists in proactive implementation of hardware\software patches and upgrades in support of enhancing and maintaining the overall efficiency of the NIPRNET\SIPRNET backbones.

Assists in configuration management of NIPRNET\SIPRNET nodes. Provides assorted status reports on as needed basis in support of SIPRNET\Image Product Library Program Management. May perform product certification assignments. Participates in the development of specialized standard practices and procedures utilized in customer support. Demonstrates knowledge of principles, and concepts of a product specialization.
