Description
Responsible for installingand maintaining Wide Area Networks utilized to provide services in metropolitan cities in the United States. The candidate
should have an expert knowledge of router, firewall and switching
systems including Foundry, Juniper and Cisco platforms. Expert knowledge
of layer 1 to 7 routing and switching technologies including MPLS, VPLS,
VPN, IP over Sonet, Ethernet over Sonet, Quality of Service, OSPF, BGP,
IGMP and other protocols is required.

The Senior Network Engineer is will be responsible for training and supporting internal and external clients and their networks. Configuring, testing and deploying the equipment and software to meet business needs, training customers on the solution, and documenting the solution for ongoing support. The Senior Network Engineer will function as part of or lead an implementation team on large projects, or individually provides the services on support visits or smaller projects. The Senior Network Engineer may also provide technical support to the sales staff and assist with the design of WAN and LAN-based solutions.df-tc
