Title: Telecom / Network Technician
Location: SOUTHFIELD, MI
Duration: 12 months
Salary: $70000- $75000

Project Description:
People management of the (employees and contractors)
Risk management on a managerial level
Ability to mentor a technical team, especially junior members
Professional Services experience
Infrastructure project experience
Prioritization of tickets per business and customer requirements
Web/app datacenter hosting experience

Risk management on a senior technical level
Senior level technical skills, especially troubleshooting and the ability to quickly learn a new environment
Web/app datacenter hosting experience
Ticket assignments and management, and tracking status
Prioritization of tickets per technical requirements, with consideration of business and customer requirements
Infrastructure capacity planning, strategic planning
Professional Services experience (project workbooks, schedules)
Ability to mentor a technical team, especially junior members
Cisco and Juniper firewalls. CheckPoint experience preferred
Switching: Cisco, heavy utilization of 802.1q(vlan)
Load balancing with SSL certs, Cisco or F5
LAN, WAN, T1, frame relay, working with telco providers
Cisco routers
Availability to travel occasionally (25%)
