What you will be doing:
* Assist in the isolation of issues and development of solutions;
* Develop the tools and tracking methods to support operational analysis;
* Specifically provide support in extracting and analysing data from existing agency databases to provide analysis of for the transition of the as is engineering, acquisition, and infrastructure states and support for the development of a gap and risk analysis from the as is plan to identify and quantify gaps and risks associated with meeting the 2015 objectives.

Duties include operational analysis of the agency's portfolio;
* Assist in the isolation of issues and development of solutions;
* Develop the tools and tracking methods to support operational analysis and operations budget formulation.
* Support for the development of engineering position papers and white papers that document and support NextGen's vision and accomplishments to date by solution sets, benefits and operational improvements.
* Support the creation and development of reports to stakeholders on accomplishments.

What you need for this position:
* Experienced in modern methodologies for all phases of the life cycle for large software intensive systems.
* Experienced in review of the documents required to perform Operational Analysis. Must be knowledgeable regarding government acquisition policy.
* Experience with Risk Analysis or RMA is a strong plus.
* SEI, CMM or CMMI experience in the development of standardized operations policies, and background in Operations Research and Systems Analyis is also a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
* Advanced experience in use of Microsoft Access, Powerpoint, and Excel is required.

Desired Experience
* Experience working FAA contracts and procurement, FAA financial systems (Delphi) and FAA AMS desired.
* Working knowledge of MS Project or Visio also preferred.

Educational requirements:
* Bachelor of Science in operations analysis, system engineering, or mathematics or related field with a minimum of 20 years work experience.
* Masters with 15 years work experience.
