Description
My client is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Applications Developer to
Design and Development of Custom FORM, REPORTS, and APPLICATIONS.

Duties include:
Design and Develop custom Applications to be integrated with existing Oracle ERP systems.
Implement the developed applications in different environments.
Maintain source code control.

Applications Design
Establishes standards for database design, usage, and documentation.
Reviews and approves all new programs and program changes regarding database usage, specifically adherence to standards, appropriateness of usage, and efficiency considerations.
Acts as an information resource for analysts and programmers regarding database design and usage, and data dictionary usage.

Production Support
Performs day to day support activities needed to keep the Oracle Applications running within the frame work of Development environment and utilizing the standard methodologies.
Performs and assist in performing SQL tuning, stress and load testing.
Isolate and diagnose problems resulting in existing application software and database failures.
Implement, test or validate application program corrections necessary to resolve identified problems.
Required to support production environment 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.

Performance
Ability to tune SQL queries, I/O, and Memory (and change queries accordingly).
Ability to set trace flags and debug.
Understands and tunes server and log file parameters to optimize performance.

Experience/Skills

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field, or extensive experience is required in Developing and Maintaining Oracle Applications using Oracle Developer Tools.
