Our client is currently seeking a Senior Oracle DBA. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle databases across multiple teams for Billing applications. -Interfacing with application developers, testers and operations to ensure the effective, efficient development and delivery of database solutions. -Supports an oncall rotation team that administers development/test databases and provides 24x7 database support to production environments. -The database administration support provided includes backup/recovery, performance tuning, configuration management, security/auditing -Other related database functions. Required Skills: Oracle Database Administration UNIX Scripting Problem Solving Skills Database Architecture PL-SQL Recommended Skills: Informatica Complete Systems Lifecycle Knowledge of EMC Disk Storage Arrays and file system layouts Experience with large database systems SQLBackTrack.
