Our client, a small, well established company (approximately 120 employees) has an immediate need for a Sr. Oracle DBA. This is a replacement the an initial 3 month contract. REQUIREMENTS: Seeking a candidate with proven strong experience supporting Oracle RAC databases in Production environments (specifically 9iRAC or 10gRAC on Linux platform RedHat Advance Server). At least 5-6 years experience as a DBA in Production environment (Operations) and Supporting development. Knowledgeable in database performance and tuning, backup/restore, data migration and developing scripts in PL/SQL, SQL. It will be the responsibility of the DBA to support all databases the client currently has such as Access, MySql, etc. The DBA will be expected to assist in supporting 3rd-party Applications (client will provide internal training). This is a vivacious company with a thriving technology department.
