JOB SUMMARY:Senior Oracle DeveloperDesigns, develops, tests, implements and documents complex applications for company usage. Performs maintenance and modification of existing programs. Mentors less experienced developers.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Develops and implements complex computer applications.2. Assists in business analysis specification development.3. Unit Tests programs thoroughly; modifies as needed.4. Assists in the integration and system test phases of the project.5. Develops efficient programming, testing and project implementationtechniques.6. Maintains current knowledge of standard languages and codingmethods.7. Analyzes production programs to isolate problems or to determine more efficient methods.8. Provides end user support to resolve program and/or job problems and aids in the understanding of information available to them.9. Trains and assists less experienced Developers.10. Assists in the full life cycle of systems as needed.11. Makes recommendations regarding standards, procedures and security.12. Responds to on-call emergencies as needed.13. Represents company in professional groups and organizations.14. Performs other duties as assigned or needed.15. Develops appropriate business knowledge skills.16. Assumes responsibility for timely project completion and communication of the project status to management.
