Description
Quantronix is looking for Derivatives Developer to work at our Client's site. Our client is a very large Investments firm, handling over $ 500 Billion in assets. This Derivatives Developer will be part of a development team that is responsible for the Derivative Operations system. The role will concentrate on the development work of the DTCC and IMS West integration projects. The role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and self-motivation. Daily Activities: - Working with the development team to design and implement the modules for the Derivative Operations projects. - Developer is also responsible for writing unit tests and design documentation and conduct code reviews.

Requirements:

Required Skill/Experience: - Minimum 5 years experience in Oracle. - Knowledge of Oracle 9i advanced features is required. - Minimum 3-5 years experience in Tuning SQL queries (SQL*Trace, Explain Plan, TKPROF). - Minimum 3 years in PL/SQL (experience creating complex views). - Minimum 1-2 years experience in Perl or Unix Shell Scripting. - Minimum 1-2 years experience in Some Oracle Reports is desirable. Education/Experience: - A bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or related engineering/mathematical studies. - Minimum 5 years of professional development experience, preferably in the investment industry or equivalent experience are required.df-tc
