Description
Quantronix immediately seeks a consultant (Senior Oracle Forms, Reports, & Discoverer Developer) to work at our Clients' site. Our client is a very large investment firm handling over $500 billion assets. This Oracle Reports/Discoverer 10g Developer will contribute to the development of Oracle Reports and Discoverer workbooks as well as to PL/SQL development projects. The candidate will participate in all parts of the development life cycle, from requirements analysis, to design, implementation and release. The candidate will leverage past development experience and will be responsible for the maintenance and development of Oracle Reports and Discoverer workbooks. The candidate will fine-tune the performance of the SQL, PL/SQL code base, application specific tables, Discoverer Administration, query creation and Discoverer maintenance.

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years experience as an Oracle Database Developer. - Knowledge of Investment Systems is required. - Oracle Discoverer 10G experience required. - Oracle Forms/Reports expertise is required. - Excellent SQL and SQL tuning experience. - Discoverer Admin experience required. - Strong PL/SQL programming skills. - Proven record of accomplishment working with development teams to provide stored procedures, views and functions to support application development. - Experience with Unix and shell scripting. - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Strong communication skills.df-tc
