I currently have available 2 Full Time Permanent positions with a very good client of mine in the Northern Bergen County area: Senior oracle Systems DBA ($100,000-$115,000) and Oracle Applications DBA ($95,000-105,000) SENIOR ORACLE ERP SYSTEMS DBA, (2198Desai) $100,000-$115,000 Description Perform Oracle ERP database administration to ensure continuous 24x7 operation and availability in support of mission critical business applications within team structure and FDA compliance requirements. Responsibilities ~Design, document and enforce data security and disaster recovery plan with consideration for key dependencies ~Plan and coordinate database changes, installation of upgrades, patches and new versions, interacting with Apps DBA, Development and Infrastructure teams ~Work with Apps DBA and extended Infrastructure team to coordinate upgrades, patches and resolve any cross function issues ~Develop, document and enforce database standards and procedures ~Develop DB and ERP infrastructure testing plans ~System/database/application monitoring, query performance tuning, analysis and design, sizing and capacity planning, backup and recovery, including recovery ~Collect and interpret trace files to identify database performance issues ~Database cloning, schema, and table level data refreshes ~Write/maintain OS level scripts (i.e., UNIX shell) for system DB maintenance Qualifications ~Should be an expert in all Oracle systems DBA related functions -previous experience in a 24x7 HA environment a MUST ~ Oracle 9i/10g RDBMS and Oracle RAC ~ 10g Grid control is a PLUS ~ DataGuard or other DR replication tools ~PL/SQL and database concepts ~Configuration of Oracle e-Business Stack 11.5.10/9iAS/10gDB in a RAC environment ~Monitoring Tools such as OEM, Mercury Interactive, Quest, etc. a PLUS ~Experience with UNIX/LINUX/AIX configuration, remote boot, monitoring and logging, troubleshooting, security and scripting skills ~Strong Performance tuning and troubleshooting skills ~Veritas Netbackup ~SAN and Replication tools ~Disaster Recovery design, implementation and testing ~Excellent communication skills ~EMC SAN integration is a PLUS ~Experience with Application load balancers is a PLUS ~5% Percent Travel Required Education BS Computer Science; 10 years systems administration experience

Requirements:

ORACLE APPLICATIONS DBA, (2199Desai) $95,000-$105,000 Responsibilities ~Work closely with functional end users and development team to support implemented Oracle Applications, Development Tools, and 3rd party solutions ~Work with Systems DBA and infrastructure team to coordinate upgrades, patches and resolve any cross functional issues ~Develop RICE and applications functional testing plans, in coordination with the development team and end users. Qualifications ~Oracle Applications 11i, 11.59/11.5.10 preferable (Implementation, Upgrade, Architecture, Performance Tuning). Must have exposure to supporting an Oracle Applications 11i implementation through GO-LIVE and production support. ~Exposure to 11i modules, Application Developer, Advanced Planning and Scheduling, MRP, Concurrent Manager, Work Flow, Discoverer ~Must have Oracle 9i application server exposure (Forms/Reporting/Apache Web servers -configuring and tuning) ~Expert in Oracle Applications 11i technical architecture and applications performance tuning and troubleshooting ~Should have experience supporting RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Extensions) development team. ~Minimum requirements are Oracle 11.5.8/9iAS with production level experience in a scalable and fault tolerant environment (HA and DR). ~Experience with 3rd party printing solution (Optio), 3rd party tax software product (i.e. VerTex), 3rd party s/w tools (Toad, ClearCase, Kintana, Athanor) a plus ~Should have understanding of Java, Oracle application Framework, and J2EE framework ~Excellent communication skills. ~5% Percent Travel Required Education BS degree in Computer Science; or four to seven years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
