Description
The Allmerica Technical Services Senior PC Consultant is part of a desktop support services team providing end-user troubleshooting and desktop solutions to a 5000+ desktop user community.

Responsibilities:
*Provide basic to complex support on a broad range of infrastructure products, including desktop, laptop, printer, and network components.
*Demonstrate subject matter expertise in certain areas; escalating problems appropriately; monitoring and maintaining ownership of tickets to ensure problem resolution.
* Troubleshoot moderately complex issues/problems specific to broad range of infrastructure products and networking components; documents solutions; builds checklists and instructions for team use; when appropriate, provides on-the-spot training and practices proactive knowledge sharing.
*Interact with clients in a courteous and professional manner; building business relationships and sharing knowledge with customers acting as an advocate for the customer.
*Provide mentoring to less experienced personnel in their specific area of expertise.

Requirements:
*Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of hardware and software products and possesses strong problem solving/ troubleshooting skills in the areas of desktops, laptops, and printers as well as basic knowledge of Windows and NetWare server and Network fundamentals.
* Proven abilities in customer-focused activity, interaction with clients in a courteous and professional manner, as well as, building business relationships and sharing knowledge with customers.
*Requires 3-5 years in functional position or related work experience, education or training is typical. A+ and/or MCP or CNA Certificate or equivalent formalized technical training preferred.
*Working knowledge of Citrix, IIS, ZenWorks and/or SMS a plus.
* Bachelor's degree with computer science focus.df-tc
